Autumn grasses are often featured as designs for tea utensils.  There is an easy mnemonic to remember the “Seven Autumn Grasses” (which only works in Japanese – unfortunately).  If you take the first letter of each grass’s name in Japanese, you get: O – Su – Ki – Na – Fu – Ku – Ha (“What is your favorite dress?”)  Clever!
