金門苑茶の湯・Tea at the Japanese Tea Garden in Golden Gate Park

2014年3月8日（土曜日）にサンフランシスコのゴールデン・ゲート公園内金門苑にて茶の湯のデモンストレーションが行われました。生形教授を先頭に表千家有志者が仙台、大阪、東京から集結しデモンストレーションを開催しました。これは東日本大震災・津波救援基金のためにベイエリアの皆様から頂いた多大なご支援に感謝するためのイベントでした。

多数の訪問客がデモンストレーション及びお茶の味を堪能しました。

Saturday, Mar. 8, 2014, tea demonstrations were held at the Japanese Tea Garden in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco.  Omotesenke volunteers from Senda’i, Osaka and Tokyo – headed by Professor Ubukata – conducted the demonstration. This was to express their gratitude for the generous donations by the residents of the Bay Area toward the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami recovery efforts.

Many visitors enjoyed the demonstration and a tasted of green tea.
